About the test

Hormonal imbalance can contribute towards symptoms such as hot flushes, low libido, low mood and changes in weight. It is suitable for both pre and post menopause checks, to assess hormone levels at all life stages.

By measuring LH (Luteinising Hormone), FSH (Follicle Stimulating hormone), Oestradiol, TSH (Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone) and Free T4, our Pre & Post Menopause Profile helps to assess women’s hormonal health, and can be used to design nutritional, supplemental and lifestyle interventions to alleviate symptoms and improve hormone balance.

It’s also suitable for anyone who would like to investigate their health for overall wellbeing.

Collecting your sample

If postmenopausal, the collection date can be any time.

If premenopausal, take the test between days 19 and 22 days of your cycle. For longer cycles, add the number of days you usually go beyond 28 days. In a similar manner, subtract if your cycles are shorter.

For example, if the cycle is 31 days, the collection date must be between days 22 to 25 of the cycle. If the cycle is 26 days, the collection date must be between days 17 to 20.
