About the test

The NeuroAdvanced Profile with Hormones is a dried urine test that measures the status of neurotransmitters, as well as levels of sex hormones and metabolites. These results provide insight into individual levels of biochemistry and hormonal balances, which can help to identify root causes of neurological and psychological symptoms.

Neurotransmitters are chemical messengers that allow nerves to communicate with each other, sending signals throughout the body, and proper balance is required for optimal health. Imbalances in hormones and neurotransmitters can over or under stimulate the brain, resulting in conditions such as those listed below.

This test is useful for those who suffer from neurological or psychological symptoms, including mood disorders, PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), adrenal dysfunction, addictive behaviours or OCD.

This test requires two dried urine samples, collected first thing in the morning and before bed.

Your sample is sent to Regenerus UK for processing and then forwarded to ZRT Laboratory in the USA for analysis.

Please note: The sample report included is for the NeuroAdvanced Profile. In addition to these markers, the NeuroAdvanced Profile with Hormones includes testing for Estradiol (E2), Pregnanediol, Allopregnanolone, Androstenedione, Testosterone, Epi-Testosterone, DHT, DHEA, 5α,3α-Androstanediol.

Disclaimer: This test is only available through a Healthpath Pro practitioner.
