This Male Andropause Profile is a helpful way to gain insight into men’s hormones.
£79.00
This Male Andropause Profile hormone test helps to identify a drop in testosterone and DHEA levels, combined with a rise in oestrogen levels. These changes to men’s hormone levels are described as male menopause, known as andropause.
By measuring LH (Luteinising Hormone), FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone), DHEA Sulphate, Testosterone, SHBG (Sex Hormone-Binding Globulin) and Free Androgen Index, our Male Andropause Profile assesses men’s hormonal health, identifying any imbalances.
It’s also suitable for anyone who would like to investigate their health for overall wellbeing.
Lowered testosterone levels can contribute to symptoms such as mood and weight changes, insomnia, chronic fatigue, brain fog and decreased muscle mass.
Need Oestradiol? You must book a venous blood draw
As of end July 2023, a fingerprick test is no longer possible for this marker.
A venous blood draw is essential to test oestradiol, due to a change stipulated by UKAS (the accreditation body for testing services).
If your client requires this marker, it is essential they book a venous blood draw with a phlebotomist, who must supply appropriate kit (SST / Gold Top venepuncture).
Contact us for phlebotomy services – our partner will be able to support you.
If you wish to test without this marker, you can still use the included finger prick kit.
