£810.00
The Immunoserology of Lyme Panel B test from Immunosciences Lab uses ELISA and Western Blot technology to measure 26 different antibodies against Lyme-specific antibodies, their subspecies and co-infections. Panel B is the Immunoserology of Lyme Panel A test with the addition of Western Blot technology. It also provides additional results for the IgG and IgM bands for Lyme disease via line blot.
Panel B detects active and chronic Lyme disease, in order to determine whether someone is developing Lyme disease, and can therefore inform health interventions.
If someone shows symptoms related to Lyme disease (detailed below), it’s important to determine whether they have Lyme disease or something else; a wrong diagnosis can lead to years of incorrect treatment. If Lyme disease is undetected, it can lead to autoimmune problems such as Lyme arthritis and neuroborreliosis.
This test is recommended for those who are suffering from symptoms and conditions related to Lyme disease. This includes a rash, muscle weakness, joint pain, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and more (for a full list of symptoms and conditions please see the bottom of this page).
This test requires a blood sample via a blood draw procedure, which must be performed by a doctor or phlebotomist. To book a blood draw, please see ‘Find a blood draw’ at regeneruslabs.com.
Your sample is sent to Regenerus UK for processing and then forwarded to Immunosciences Lab in the USA for analysis.
