The FDX Inspect from Functional DX provides a comprehensive evaluation of health by assessing the status of over 80 biomarkers. Unlike the FDX Check, this test includes homocysteine and fasting insulin.
This test ‘inspects’ the status of different biomarkers within the body, including minerals such as iron, calcium, and potassium, as well as folate, vitamin D and vitamin B12, which are important vitamins to look at when assessing potential chronic diseases. It also measures inflammatory markers, blood sugar, thyroid, and vitamin status.
This FDX Inspect test is useful for those who want a slightly more in-depth assessment of their overall health, without delving into a full hormonal status (the FDX Ultra provides hormonal analysis as well).
