About the test

DNA Pain® analyses the genes involved in biological processes that have an impact on the risk of chronic pain. This helps to inform pain management protocol and create useful recommendations, based on individual genetic variations.

DNA Pain® reports on the key areas that contribute to chronic pain, which include inflammation, cell signalling, methylation, oxidative stress and more. These results then help to inform individual pain management interventions (dietary, lifestyle, supplements and exercise) that are designed to address a person’s unique genetic variations.

This test requires four blood spots (collected on one card) from a single finger prick.

Disclaimer: This test is only available through a Healthpath Pro practitioner.
