About the test

The Cardiometabolic Serum test identifies risk factors for cardiovascular disease and metabolic factors related to metabolic syndrome and diabetes to give a comprehensive evaluation of an individual’s overall health.

By combining the most in-depth conventional and functional laboratory biomarkers, this test gives a more extensive health evaluation than traditional standard lipid panels. The Cardiometabolic Serum test evaluates cholesterol and triglyceride levels, targeted apolipoproteins, essential ratios, high-sensitivity CRP, PLAC® activity, homocysteine and insulin resistance.

This test is useful for those who are more at risk of developing cardiovascular disease (e.g. increasing age, poor diet, smoker, overweight, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc) as it can help to identify issues and create useful health interventions.

This test requires a blood sample via a blood draw with centrifuge, which must be performed by a doctor or phlebotomist. To book a blood draw, please see ‘Find a blood draw’ at regeneruslabs.com.

Please note, the price of this test includes sample shipping to Regenerus UK for processing (then forwarded to Doctor’s Data in the USA for analysis).

Disclaimer: This test is only available through a Healthpath Pro practitioner.
