Autoimmune Liver Disease

The Autoimmune Liver Disease Test from Immunosciences Lab measures levels of actin and mitochondrial antibodies, to identify and determine the presence and/or progression of autoimmune liver disease.

About the test

The Autoimmune Liver Disease Test from Immunosciences Lab is a blood draw test to identify the presence of autoimmune liver disease, its progression, and the effectiveness of any therapy undertaken.

It works by measuring the levels of anti-actin (smooth muscle) antibodies and anti-mitochondrial antibodies, which can show whether autoimmune liver disease is present, and how far it has progressed.

This test is recommended for those who are genetically predisposed to autoimmune disease, or who have a history of liver problems.

This test requires a blood sample via a blood draw procedure, which must be performed by a doctor or phlebotomist. To book a blood draw, please see ‘Find a blood draw’ at

Your sample is sent to Regenerus UK for processing and then forwarded to Immunosciences Lab in the USA for analysis.

Disclaimer: This test is only available through a Healthpath Pro practitioner.
